Born in West Yorkshire after the Second World War, Steve’s love of cycling began at an early age in Bradford.  As a young boy, Steve occupied his time by train spotting, cycling, hiking.  Steve started Garden City Wheelers cycling club in 1969 so that he would have someone to ride with. The name was changed to St. Catharines Cycling Club in 1974. Steve can still been seen riding his road and mountain bike in the Niagara Region. Thank you Steve for leading the way!
