Larry has always loved riding. “As a kid, my bike gave me freedom. It still does.” Larry moved to NOTL from Richmond Hill in 2014. Before making the SCCC his local club, he enjoyed the Midweek Crits in Mississauga as well as riding the Toronto Donut Ride for a number of years. “It’s fun in a big group.”
Larry enjoys being an amateur master road racer and a Kurzawinski Coach – Bike Zone team member. This group of highly motivated athletes with a great coach know how to train, race and have fun.
Favourites: Paris to Ancaster; Good Friday Road Race; Tour di via Italia; Tour de Terra Cotta; Hamburg NY race Weekend; Tour de Hans; Kitchener Twilight Crit; love volunteering for the Steve Bauer Classic – our home club race. Loving cycling for its social aspect as well as that of solo riding, Larry encourages others to put cycling in their lifestyle. Our St. Catharines club is a great vector for this and he hopes to help grow awareness and involvement in cycling in our community.
